Design of an acoustic barrier for the protection of a residential property from traffic noise

dBplus acoustic consultants undertook the design of a barrier to reduce traffic noise affecting a residential property in the city of Gavà. dBplus acoustic consultants took measurements of outdoor sound immission from various points of the affected area and with the use of specialised software, created models of the existing traffic flow. Once the data had been analysed, dBplus designed a barrier that considerably reduced the effect of traffic noise in the area, thereby creating a comfortable environment for all involved.
