dBplus acoustic consultants implemented the design and full installation of sound insulation solutions for an engine room. In order to design the most appropriate solutions, dBplus measured the noise emission and sound immision levels in the room and and interior patio where the vents were situated. Once the results of the measurements had been assessed, dBplus designed acoustic silencers fitted within the extraction and air supply ducts as a means of insulation for the roof of the room. It was thereby possible to achieve the necessary sound insulation for the patio, in compliance with the applicable regulations.
